The Yaskawa J1000 Inverter Drive In Detail
Easy Start-Up: The J1000 drive has been designed for ease of use, efficiency and reliability. The drive has Plug 'n Play functionality with Easy Set-Up Functions to facilitate fast installation and operation. The J1000 also has easy programming and controller functions and, if you like to have things even easier, the free parameter management tool (PC required), Drive Wizard Plus, helps greatly in both the installation and the operation procedures of a drive.
Drive Wizard Plus: Management of all of the J1000's settings is possible by using Yaskawa's engineering tool Drive Wizard Plus. Using the oscilloscope function it is possible to monitor the drive's performance and, besides letting you edit parameters, Drive Wizard Plus also allows you to create your own operation sequences.
Performance: The J1000 drive meets the International Standards with RoHS, CE, cUL, UL compliance. The small, compact design allows for side-by-side mounting reducing installation space and costs. Featuring High Torque Performance the J1000 detects the load and adjusts the torque automatically (regardless of actual speed conditions). Other features of the drive include stall prevention which ensures that, even during momentary power loss or change of load or power supply, it continues to function when other drives fail. The 5 digit display and 8 keys on the operator allow editing (see Drive Wizard Plus above for easier implementation).
Functions: For quick deceleration (without an external braking resistor), the Yaskawa J1000 inverter drive, features "Over-Excitation Braking". Although small the compact J1000 is a drive with surprising power, 150% overload in heavy duty and, for applications with low overload requirements and it can safely be operated with 120% overload in normal duty service. The continuous running of the motor is ensured with the drive's Power-Loss-Ride- Through and Fault Restart Functions. To ensure that the drive avoids maintenance problems the "Maintenance Monitor Function" lets you know, in advance, of recommended maintenance for cooling fan and electrolytic capacitors. The free Drive Wizard Plus (mentioned above) will also help in the maintenance of the drive.
Options: The functionality of the J1000 inverter drive can be expanded by the use of several options. Options available on the J1000 include; LED Remote Operator, Speed Potentiometer, Parameter Copy Unit and Serial Communication (compatible with RS-422/485 Interface for MEMOBUS).
